hi moey its been a long time but avatar was a good movie i give it 8 out of 10 , the idea of the movie means humans[or maybe america!] trying to control everything by its power. they want all resouces be for them even its not for them by a direct way or another.
for sure the movie wont be the greatest for all the people but the great for MOST of the watchers. like GTA[grandtheft auto] game its one of the best games ever but for me its CRAP! not even 1 pointcheers

I would love to see Avatar, just for the cinematography. For me, sometimes a movie is just a movie and a book is just a book. Why all the conspiracy theories?

The Movie is just like listening to a story that has been told 100 times, a story which is really straightforward, but I must say the development and Production is better made than previous makes of this story, what totally pissed me off is that bad guy who was killed at the end of the movie leading that fighting machine, he plays his role like a “boy next door”………. one more thing made it a bit different experience is watching it in Dolby3D, yeah just another 3D format but I actually liked better than RealD 3D technology.

I am Indian and for years we have criticized Hindi Movies for being cliched and predictable. If you have not seen a Hindi movie upto now, then Avatar sums all the crap that formulates a run of the mill Bollywood flick. 3D does not help either.
Avatar is the biggest disappointment and the world seems to love it. Sad but True!!!

I am with you Moey and ARB. I walked out after 2 hours; that was more than it deserved. I just couldn’t stand it when the ‘American’ hero went into his motivational speeches and the ‘inferior savages’ roar in approval – give me a bucket !

I really don’t see it why everybody is so over the moon with this movie….. It’s nice, but it is way too long and that makes it boring near the end. I think I would give it a 6- for the effects.

Crap, i paid 8 JD’s x 4 , 2al sho, i’ve invited my friends..
i’ve watched this movie on City Mall Cinema (YACK) all the 3D i saw the subtitles in 3D and when the man shoots the golf ball..and the audio was crappy too
Play Warcraft III Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne,it has a much much much much much much much MUCH better LORE than this CRAP
Then to enjoy the Rest of the LORE, Play World of Warcraft with Nvidia 3D Vision Glasses & a 120Hz monitor.

Thank goodness some sensible comment about Avatar 3D. I traveled a long way with my family to see this “epic”, “groundbreaking” movie. It was neither. Catchy use of newish technology – that’s all. This is not a great movie.

Great message, crap movie.
They start from a great idea and turn it into the usual Hollywood boring predictable superficial crap.
I didn’t even find it much entertaining despite the nice graphs.
Hopefully in a few years someone will do a good version of it.

I have to agree, it was so predictable I actually started playing with the 3D glasses. On the plus side if you wear them upside down then everything is very blurred, if you take them off it is slightly blurred but lighter and if you turn your head really sideways the edges smudge a little.
