كفاية تريئة يا جماعة, الله
I see nothing funny about it… It’s just another way of separating our identity from the rest of the arabs, because we see that we’re different with everything we do from most arabs, so yeah we ought to have an Egyptian Wikipedia.
The last annual Wikimedia conference was held in Biblotheca Alexandria, one of the world’s most renowned libraries and culture centers, and there the idea came up, and most of us Egyptians support the move.
So make all the fun you want, let’s see if anyone can make a Jordanian wikipedia or anything

Egyptian, Jordanian or any other Arabic country… it’s ARABIC! you have no rights to claim the way you write a language

You guys mess arabic up

Haha dude let’s be realistic here, do you or anyone you know use Proper Arabic, as in FUS7A Arabic? Didn’t think so! We only use it either for formal stuff, or as a joke

So I guess its more realistic to make webpages that speak the common dialects used nowadays, it’s weird but it’s nice for a change

This way, if we had any literature. It will disappear
They have thier own wikipedia, because “most” egyption can’t understand arabic, that i’m putting it politely, in a harsh way, they are DUMB and think MASRY is a language, pish.
i said most. not everyone.
I think it’s great Wikipedia is adapting different languages for the website. A lot of pages are already available on other language. Hopefully they’d develop this further.
