I like how most of the events for the NYE were cancelled. Some say because the organizers didn’t sell enough tickets, some others say because the organizer is from a palestinian origin and has family there. My heart is with Gaza and Gazans.
My heart sincerely go out to all the families and victims of Gaza, We can only hope the New Year brings some peace and optimism to this already crazy world…

Some parties were cancelled because the organizers didn’t get the assent from the Interior Ministry, and others decided to cancel their parties to co-operate with people of Ghaza, Black & White is not cancelled, I was working on this subject today by asking the Intelligence Agency about it and for sure the party is going to happen and we are still working to do the best in this party, If you people want to be sure I am going to post the Interior Ministry assent to do the party. Very true, canelling the events won’t in anyway help the victims of the attacks.
It is a good way to show support but as i mentioned above it won’t help the victims in any realistic way.
For me i will celebrate new year with my friends, i don’t see how me staying at home when all my friends are partying will help the people of gaza.

u support them by simply not enjoying urself that much when they’re dying every minute..by showing ur respect for all the lives taken away when all they wished for was to grow up and die peacfuly! you’re going to be dancing and they’re going to be breathing their last breath! the point is..instead of wasting wat atleast 50 jd on a ticket and then another 50 on drinks w absar sho go buy 10 jackets! u can buy more than ten jackets with that..jackets for children whose parents have died and have no clothes on their back or a parent to hold them close and keep them warm…! i know its too late now..but i hope u think of them tonight when the clock tics 12.. amr, my blog might not reflect the purpose of my life because it is a place where I can rant and have fun, I’m not detached from reality nor a spoiled kid, I work and get paid then enjoy spending my salary, I don’t take my allowance from my parents like you do, yes. the meaning of the word “3arabi” means ino all arabs are ur brothers and sisters..means we’re all one big family…and u tattooed that on ur skin and i salute that…but why exactly did u do that when actually u do not consider all arabs as ur family..which u just showed me when u replied by saying u dont have family in gaza which is why u dont feel bad! i am a big fan of your blog..and i know that no one is perfect but this is a matter of principle…but i guess u do not realise the meaning of their white and blue flag with the damn star in the middle..go check it out…they’re not only after Palestine..they’re coming for us soon..and when they do i hope ur still not out saying i dont have family here so i dont really feel bad.

Honestly, i have always respected all your opinions through out your blog.You are right , partying while people are dying won’t make a difference in the conflict but think about your humanity .Heard about anything called solidarity.
It is hard for me and you to imagine how hard it is to be at any palestinian’s place.the least you can do is stand with them and share their misery by at least not partying.
would you party if a family member died for you?.Well, Gazans are our brothers in humanity who got slaughtered.
