Paul van Dyk, one of the world’s leading electronic dance music DJs and producers is going to perform in Biel, Lebanon this year, on October 4th.
If the organizers were smart they’d have snitched a date in between, Dubai on the 3rd, Biel on the 4th then there’s this huge gap to fill till the 16th!
I beg you organizers to do something! this is the 2nd year in a row.

I don’t understand again how that means he hates Jordan?!?! Does it also mean that he hates Egypt for example?
The simple explanation could be that no party organizer in Jordan contracted with him and so he is not holding a concert here, in all probability he doesn’t really care where he plays since all he gets to see is the airport and his hotel room!?!

I do not think that Paul Van Dyk hates Jordan Moey .. I believe I heard he was here last year or something like that I dont know .. It sucks big time!! That he never makes any concerts here anymore I just dont get it why .. I like his songs alot and like I said previously its a real shame that he wont be coming here but Moey my friend lets keep our fingers crossed and just hope he will be here in the coming years

I don’t think he hates Jordan, artists don’t perform in places because they “like them” !!!! They go there because they’ll make money if they do. They’re ready to perform in Djibouti if that brought them more fame and money

Guys Guys, he doesn’t hate Jordan why would he ! but he wants to go somewhere where fans APPRECIATE HIM! Jordan unfortunately, has a grasp of people who know the difference between DUB/House/Techno/Trance/Electro music !
I mean all previous performances done in Jordan by DJ’s were ” fashelin ” , Fan-wise.
People rather go to George Wassouf or some other Arabic singer.

Not a single DJ found the crowd they’re looking for in Jordan. We don’t have an electronic dance music scene and we’ll never know how to build and sustain one.
I recall tiesto, armin, above & beyond, digweed and jules.. people were all drunk and giving the typical local angry look “ja7ra”.. i’ve never been to an event with so many angry/sad people!
Looking at the expenses; tickets start at US$100+, come on! i’ve never seen khirfan like our people! markus & armin together went for 25 euros! why the rip off?

PVD ? lol, he hates jordan? as if he likes other countries ? he just go where money exists, nothing else, and what he does the same as tiesto, a playback, somebody here in lebanon was near him, he saw PVD wasn’t even playing live..
even though i don’t care nor listen to electronic or whatever this style is, but PVD really sucks as tiesto in case you’ve seen tiesto’s last performance in leb, he just got a name for him self and using it, and doesn’t care for how he’d be these days .. PVD is taking tiesto’s steps which is sucking big time (personal opinion)

here in lebanon it was hosted by MixFm 104.4 radio station, so good lck next year hope his tour wil inculde jordan, and as marcon said, it might be the reason, for me, EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNEW was there …

i mean come on guys i’ve been to pvd on october 4th in forum de beyrouth and it was A BLAST! everyone was having fun and taken by the music,, nearly 20.000 ppl were there and i witnissed only one little fight! so what i wanna say that we need like 20.000 years to reach the level of lebanon,, so w2tha we’ll have the right to feel sad if pvd hates us,, or even knows that we exist

PVD’s gig on the 4th was OK, -nothing major-. I had a ground ticket where the real action is (this is what I thought) and I regret that; too many nawar wu z3allatiyyeh! By 2 am there was no drinking water left, and I had to stay in que for 5-10 minutes every time I had to use the toilets. Suddenly, and for no particular reason; noone was allowed to leave the venue and come back again, khalas once you step out youre out!
According to a friend who works for Virgin; more than 10,000 ground and 2,000 v/vvip tickets were sold, that makes PVD’s last year’s gig 1.5 times bigger (the old one had 19,000) and way trippier (music was WAY better back then).
Organization of the event sucked; mix fm needs to step back and have the professionals plan such an event.
I love how beirut has successfully drew its road map as a major trance scene in the arab world and wish that amman does the same.

roo2o ya shabab!!!PVD’s night at furom KICKED ASS!yes there were lots of shawaya but most of the people were dancing hard and appreciating the music.and i know nothing about paul not performing live, and i dont care when i hear a song like for an angel, it just takes you to a whole nother place.jjust appreciate the music that he has made!!!what do any of you guys think of David Vendetta?cz he is performing live in damascus in 11/12 and im considering it but i wanted an advice of people who might have went to one of his gigs.
