Review: Batman, The Dark Knight
“Wanna know how I got these scars?”
I can say I was completely blown away! Not just the best Batman movie ever made, this is one of the best movies this year. Everything in this film is excellent, not one piece of annoyance.
Ledger has made The Joker in to an iconic movie villain. This is the true Joker every Batman fan knows, loves and fears. Ledger deserves any and every movie award known to man for this brilliant display. He was so good at that part it made me feel bad he’s dead now.
PHENOMENAL, summing it all up in one word.
Nolan’s directing is sublime, he managed to keep us, the audience enthralled in an almost 3 hour movie. There were several shots in the film that had me saying “Now how in the hell did they do that?!”, Brilliant scores by James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer.
Every actor shines, no one person steals the film.
I don’t want to say much about it, because whatever is said cannot do it justice, there is enough hype surrounding it’s release, but it’s there for a reason. Top Notch film.
Rates 5/5 on my scale (first time ever I guess?)

Did you watch Batman: Gotham Knight? It’s set in between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight.
As the king of an amoral universe, as a purveyor of unrestricted evil for fun, Ledger’s dastardly villain, attired as sort of a rotting Clarabell, has chosen his own damnation. He’s jumped into an abyss he has dug himself, and he wants to pull us along.

funny thing i heard on the opening of the movie as Christian Bale(BatMan) didnt show up as he was arrested accused of violence on his own children ……. Dark Knight comes in action ….. tough guy
BTW if you get to watch it again, notice in the car chase scene (when the truck eventually flips), the whole sequence has no soundtrack for 6 minutes.
My sister attended it with a movie director and he was shocked they were able to pull off such a feat

I didn’t like the deep batman voice, kinda made it weird for me.
loved the Joker, “WHY So SERIOUS …” I guess Heith made a mistake by offing himself,
WHY Twoface dies? would’ve made a great sequel to anticipate,

I have never seen a movie got so contradicating reviews.. its either someone hates it or absoloutely adores it.. which is wierd.. wanted to see it yesterday but instead I saw “Wanted” which is certainly amazing.. but after your review I intend on checking it out myself.. I really couldn’t stand Batman’s voice, and I felt the movie took itself a bit too serious (its a super hero movie, Why so serious?). That said, this is by far the best version of the Joker yet. However Ledger out performs everyone in the movie which does kind of throw things off balance, making it evidently clear that Bale was average at best.
Bale was even below average.
the movie is a blockbuster!
I dunno, But if Ledger was alive, would we give him the same amount of attention?
