Everything changes…

I’ve been following this new diet for a week now, I thought It was just silly until I realized I couldn’t finish my burger last night, I only ate half a double whopper, half the fries and a diet sprite.

I went back home full, I only had that and a rocca salad in the morning! that’s it. my old two meals, I have gallons of water I’m sure of that..

Burger King in the UK are promoting their Double Whopper to “real men” with the slogan ”
Are You Man Enough?”, At 923 Calories per burger, I’m sure the XL Double Whopper® with Cheese will make me more of a man. Probably many pounds more. Add a large Coke and fries and you’ve got a meal of 1567 Calories, 2.2 grams of sodium, and 75 grams of fat.

Burger King, I’ll settle for chick food. No, I am not man enough, I prefer water-fasting :)

It took me time to realize that those extra large portions just support the fact that I, like most people not raised to understand the difference between having enough food, being full and the last step - being stuffed.

I wanted to quit burgers last year, and I did for a while until I got back to them, excuse my lame cooking skills (besides making dessert) and being a student that also works.

    hmm, thats a bad excuse u know, being a student who works and has no time to cook.. u can order subway instead! eat healthy and chose wisely even if ur short on time.. it changes ur whole body craving for junk when u bombard ur system with fresh raw veggies, trust me, been there done that, and lost 127 pounds in the process :D

    Here’s my advice if u wanna get rid of some pounds.Cut out the rice and all red meats (this inculdes junk food).U can eat 5 times a day with healthy meals,try boiling everything and go for white meats,such as: chicken,turkey and fish.If u still can’t keep ur hands off Bk,well have it only in weekends.Remember lotsa vegies and fruits!

    Oh Fast Food , It’s so addictive , Specially hamburger and fries , I can’t get enough of it , I’m really planing to lose some weight , My parents told me i lost some because of work , But i still want to lose more , I think i will depend on 2 meals only , Let’s see what happens!

    You know, I felt exactly the same way when I saw a bit of advertisement on the burger king XXL pepsi cup in NY.. I don’t remember what it says.. But it had the similar stupid psychological trick that tells you “when you think you’ve had enough, order another!”

    Makes me sick.

    Quit burgers? with slider station and johnny rockets around.. Man I wish I could :p
