you didn’t mention the blend! Shouldn’t it be Multiply?
do you have any idea why brands work with 1-hour-design designers?
i tried that, didnt work :s even if i did exactly what u said, why do we have to write all letters in illustrator? why do we need to create an outline, the original character works fine, and by the way u dont left-click to choose an option unless u added that for distraction

it really looks like illustrator the great can intersect 3al 3amma. use paste in place to reduce the time in fitting the black peice in place, and finally which is by far the most important i dont know how u forgot about it, change the first three letters transparecey blendign mode to DARKEN, it wont work without it
the panel with intersect command is not transform, its pathfinder
u left out a detail or two: when making a copy to intersect make sure the letters overlap each other
