Review: I Am Legend
I wish that I could sum this movie up in one sentence, which is : WOW! WILL IS…
Will Smith is back with a hell of a good movie “I Am Legend“. His performance is impeccable. The movie starts with his alone in NYC, reminded me a bit of Tom Hanks in Cast Away, with a German Shepard named Sam also acted really good (hahaha, joking but the dog was well trained). With his basement which reminded me of LOST, the TV series but this is more of a high-tech lab to find a cure for the disease that has turned the population of the planet into zombies, even worse monsters. for some reason, Will is immune (I hope the novel explains it). Keeping the movie flowing are well placed flashbacks that show what happened to Robert’s family and why he is there. The movie contains wonderful cinematography and CG, I Am Legend is a spectacular film that I will be seeing again!
This film could easily have filled 2.5 hours of content.
Why did it only last 1.5? I want more story, more character development & I want to know more about what happened, and how Will Smith’s character is dealing with it. In short, I just want MORE. Gimme Gimme More (Britney spears attitude, anymore?).
All in all, this film left me feeling a lot but none of it was really EXPLAINED.
It’s a shame, really, because the concept is golden… I’ll just picked the novel from amazon, the Mass Market Paperback edition , I think this will improve my reading/writing skills & hopefully it will give me the depth that I want.

I loved the movie, but like you, I felt there were bits missing at times. Like, what the heck was the disease, and why was he was immune to it? Like on Amazon it mentioned something about ‘vampires’…I’m lost :p But all in all it was a fab movie.
Wait…wait..I was 10 minutes late to the movie; you think it might have something to do why I’m partially “lost”? :p lol

The story is not even new, but the movie is really brilliant!
No Sou, it was a little bit confusing. I felt like I was missing something as well. Like Moey said, they could have made a better movie if they added some more time to it and explained more.

its controversially awesome! i would love it more if they show him driving thru the abandon NYC,it needs more time,true something was missing,but over all i understood it!

I for one think the movie sucked big time after pursuit of happyness smith should aim for better scripted movies but this is low even for him sorry just my opinion
Not much on my mind. Basically not much exciting going on today. Eh. Pretty much nothing seems worth thinking about, but oh well. I guess it doesn’t bother me. i liked the movie better, it was just rushed, i think they could have added more into it. make it seam not so rushed
