Moey, sounds great and the rates are reasonable. Do you know if JordanTelecom has monthly download limits? Also, FYI to everyone who lives in te US, If you have DSL you can subscribe to a Vonage VOIP service http://www.vonage.com and have it installed on your phone in Jordan which gives you a US Area code and number. This way you can have unlimited calls to/from your family for 24.99/month.

Their name is totally uncool. Splendor?
I hereby announce my new company: Elegance Telecom. ;-)

Seriously now.. their prices are good. But has anyone out there tried them?

Their splash page yesterday was a jpeg.

Anyways, I’ve heard there is a wireless company that will launch soon, finally no need for Etisalat and their land line.

I’m happy with my current ISP, though my contract will end next month, but won’t change my current ISP. I think all ISP are good, it’s just about how nice and smart their employees are.

Thanks for this Moey

Do they use the same landlines as orange?

After a sudden disconnect when I had a 1 Mbps heaven for a year or so, the crazy orange people said that my home can’t and – mind you – couldn’t have gotten anything faster than 128 Kbps.

I tried to make them understand that I wasn’t really fond of paying for a 1024 line that I wasn’t getting for a whole year. But they are still trying to convince me that I was hallucinating.

I tried many times when my net connection has been disconnected to contact Splendor Telecom technical support to help me but it seems to me that there is no phone number to contact them and there is no one there to help? This make me think whether to continue with them or not? I would like a provider with good technical support.
