Virgin Megastore Amman is opening soon, claimed on September 5th by the management, decorations and training are almost done and I know It’s going to be a huge success because It’s linked to Dubai’s, however I’m going to enjoy it more than Kuwait’s I’m sure. On the other hand, I heard from many people and read on Lina’s blog that Prime Megastore (the only competitor) is getting rid of the business, a lebanese independent music label called Incognito is going to take over the music and DVD section starting September 8th.
That’s sad!

Hello there : This info is completely wrong, Prime is currently opening its second Amman Branch at Al-Baraka mall in Sweifieh starting Feb 08 with over 4000 m2 , in size it will dwarf any other store in Amman and MAybe in the entire Middle-East – 5 cinemas , lounges, Sushi bar, Largest bookstore in Amman, high end listening rooms, Largest electronics store in Amman. It will live up to the expectations of every one who will step foot on the 4th of that very upscale mall , a first in Amman by far. Expect it !
