I found an interesting post by Red Rose’s about pizza the other day and discovered that I’m not the only that finds people who put ketchup on pizza gross, quoting Salam:
NO..NO..NO..NO ABSOLUTELY NO KETCHUP ON PIZZA. This is something I had to comment on, because so many people do that and I HATE IT!! Whoever puts ketchup on pizza should net be near an oven..it should be a nice tomato sauce ..cook it with a little thyme and add some really thinly sliced fresh tomatoes to the toppings..yum yum yummy.
So if you ever put ketchup on your pizza next to me on a table, I’m leaving the table.

It doesn’t suck when you bake it with the pizza, but I didn’t try putting it on already baked pizza, I don’t think it’s a good idea

Moeyyyyyyyy that is really funny..it’s the first time I see this on Pizza..what I recieved before Tomato Paste only no fresh tomato no Katchup no sauce..just Paste and I couldn’t swallow..but ask them not to do this and they will resond

i love ketchup with pizza, one of my friends introduced this idea to me. i gotta admit the first time i saw them do that it kinda grossed me out but once i tasted it i fell inlove! now i eat it with ketchup and ranch all the time. i know it sounds strange but who cares lol

In parts of Europe, putting ketchup on pizza is not weird. In America, tons of people eat it with Ranch dressing and in Japan they use non-traditional toppings like Octopus. I think ketchup and fries is gross and that’s a very typical combination, in the US. In Europe, mayonnaise is used frequently. I use mustard only. If someone sits next to you and puts ketchup on their pizza, don’t move just because of that. Just be glad they aren’t putting feces on it or something taboo and unsanitary like that.
