#1 – Not Updating
Specially when you stay away from posting for more than 2 weeks, you’ll lose your fans. A non-updated blog is a dead blog.
#2 – Blogging Only For Money
Like some bloggers I know from Kuwait, only giving good reviews to paid stuff. 99% of blogs on the Web can’t make more than $100/month.
#3 – Rushing a Post
Typos in fast written posts are a killer. Before you hit Publish, take your time to double/triple check the post to make sure it’s free of errors. If you spot an error after the post, correct it immediately.
#4 – Not Being Personal
Blogs should be personal or people will switch to CNN instead.
#5 – Being a Copycat
What makes your blog stand out from the millions in the blogshere? Is your blog unique or is it just another copycat? I certainly copied this post from another blogger, but edited it with my touch and you’ll see the difference once you check the source link, STOP POSTING EMAIL FORWARDS ABOUT CHILDHOOD IN AMMAN DURING THE 80′S AND THE 90′S.. Give your opinion because that’s what blogging is all about. The most unique thing about your blog is you.
#6 – Not Replying To Comments
Readers comment in your blog, please answer them. and comment on their blogs, If you don’t do that.. you’ll be your only blog viewer.
#7 – Not Giving a Full Feed RSS
Unless you make 10+ posts per day, there are really no good reasons for not offering a full feed RSS.
#8 – Not Reaching Out To Other Bloggers
Get your blog noticed is by commenting on others and posting in forums, trust me it works. I discovered many great blogs this way.
#9 – Writing For Google Instead Of People
write for people, not for Google.
#10 – Not Reading Moeys dot net
This is the biggest mistake ever!

Hey, can you tell me what an RSS feed is? and a forum?
Moey, just so you know, I don’t read posts that have lots of profanity, sex talk, or YouTube/Ikbis, ’cause it takes too long to down load.
Probably standing out from the rest is the most difficult point. It requires creativity, which 90% bloggers apparently lack of ¬¬
Good list, all relevant points
I especially like #2. I hate when I come across blogs asking people to donate money to them for stupid reasons, stingy scabs even have paypal accounts set up and everything so u can donate

Qwaider; esh gasdak :S
kinzi; thanks dear
an RSS feed is a way for content sites to share a “feed” of their current articles and headlines. If you’ve been to “portal” sites that provide news and headline summaries from other sources, you’ve seen RSS in action (just like jordanblogs, itoot and other communities), I hope that was helpful.
TheAdMad!; true.
Shy; right, it’s sick.
Kinzi,
RSS = ‘Rich Site Summary’ AKA ‘Real Simple Syndication’. Which is basically a way to present your blog’s _Content_ without the extra _formatting_. So instead of viewing the HTML (which renders to full web pages), you are actually receiving the content (the test of the title, excerpt, time ..etc)Moey, ya3ni … If I praise you, you get upset. If I don’t .. you get upset … sho a3mellak!!?
i agree! in fact i agree big time on the reply-to-comments part, coz sometimes when u comment on ppl’s blogs and they never reply back, it aint nice! lol
oh and i totally agree on the copycat thing! eft!
gr8 post i must say..
I have a little reason why I don’t do consequent posts but I’m never gonna tell because it’s silly as hell. Wow, look it rhymes! haha
You are the best. one other thing you might add is change your theme and design from time to time so reviewers will not get bored. Well Done!
Verbal Alchemy; anytime

Thank God I am not committing any of those mistakes, or well maybe one or two could be committed but overall I know that at least 80% is not committed.
